Consumed

Providence Art Windows exhibits juried art to fill empty retail spaces in downtown Providence.
My installation Consumed, was on display from June 18 - September 11, 2009 at 203 Westminster St. Providence, RI.

The maple seedpod's resemblance to wings were the inspiration for
the development of this sculpture. Working intuitively, my personal emotions and experiences at the time informed the creation of the moths and their ribcage-heart homes.
