Master wax sculptures I created during my time at Empire Prototype, commissioned by various toy and infant product companies.
All wax sculptures are licensed characters copyrighted to their respective companies & designers.
I start by sculpting a rough model in clay and then make a rubber mold of the sculpture. All the details are refined in the wax casting poured from this mold. This final wax sculpture is the master pattern.
Multiples made from my originals were used for trade show and presentation samples as well as the pattern for manufacturing the final product.
